Hotelbeschreibung
The CATALONIA GIRALDA hotel is located right in the historic and shopping centre of Seville. It is named after one of Seville´s most famous sightseeing locations, ´la Giralda´, which is just a few metres walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is also very close to the Santa Justa train station, where the AVE (high speed train) terminal is located. The CATALONIA GIRALDA hotel was built in 1967 and renovated in 1999, and has 110 rooms on 5 floors. All rooms are fully equipped with interactive satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, Canal +, telephone and a hair dryer in the bathroom, etc. The hotel also has a café, a restaurant with international cuisine and a room for holding meetings and seminars. |
Diverse Aktivitäten
You can start your sightseeing tour in the María Luisa park, an important meeting point developed in the 19th century by the French architect, Forestier. It offers impressive promenades and gardens, fountains and gorgeous tilework. In the same park you can visit Plaza de España, which surrounds the Palacio Español built in 1929 for the Iberoamerican Exhibition. This is a semicircular square with magnificent tiles and promenades with arches. You can hop on a classic Andalusian horse-driven carriage and visit the city centre, viewing the Tobacco Factory, the numerous pavilions from the 1929 Iberoamerican Exhition or the Palacio de San Telmo. You can finish the tour in the Plaza Nueva in front of the Ayuntamiento (town hall). This Renaissance building has a splendid plateresque façade. |
